Acomodados, artistic device / rest station, 2019.

Measurements: carpet 200 cm in diameter, pillows 80 cm in diameter x 40 cm in height each.

Materials: fabric, knitted rug, watercolors, embroidery, canvas and pillows.

Each one of the pillows is a representation of a certain information collected in a survey carried out by the Avon Institute, where several data referring to the violence suffered by women and girls were analyzed. I selected three of them, such as the fact that 47% of the men interviewed believe they need sex more than women. I put these data there, represented as comfortable pillows so that spectators could physically relate to the device, and in turn the device relates to the painting, forming a link between the experience of the accommodated body and social reality.
